Description
A lush setting for strings by M. Dean Kincaid of this timeless hymn. After a short introduction the melody is introduced in D major by the violas accompanied by the other instruments. The melody then passes to the 1st violins. The chorus is begun by the cellos and basses and passed to the upper strings. After a modulation to A major, the second verse begins with some ornamented interplay between the two violin parts. The chorus is given in B-flat major and returns to the original key of D major for a rich ending.
