    October meeting of the Hinsdale Music Club. In a program titled Lyric Opera Overview, members will perform selections from operas that will be featured by the Lyric Opera of Chicago during their current season. Daniel Ziesemer will contribute a presentation of the Melodie from Orfeo ed Euridice  in a classic transcription by Fritz Kreisler.

    Every year Western Springs music club and Hinsdale Music Club do a joint meeting. On behalf of the Hinsdale Music Club, Daniel Ziesemer will present the rarely heard Rualia Hungarica by Ernst von Dohnanyi for violin and piano. He will be accompanied on the piano by Michael Surratt.
