Description

A charming mixture of two lesser-know hymns and the Country Dance of Beethoven arranged by Craig Sandford. The arrangement opens in G major with a statement of the Country Dance and then transitions to the hymn Ho! Every Thirsty One. After this, the hymn Ho! Every One That Is Thirsty is introduced in a sparkling and bubbly style. This is followed by a slower, more tranquil verse in A major. This is then followed by another statement of the Country Dance and then a quick and spritely verse of Ho! Every Thirsty One in D major. A final statement of the original theme brings the arrangement to a close.

Suitable for intermediate to advanced players.

This arrangement is available on the CD album Masterworks Vol.2
