Description

This edition marks the first time that this beautiful arrangement of “The Star Carol” is available in print. One of the many beautiful carols written and composed by the late Alfred Burt (completed two days prior to Al’s death), ‘The Star Carol” tells the Christmas story in a musical setting particularly adapted to its theme. This warm and tender setting was arranged by Ralph Carmichael for the Laymen Singers, and recorded on their Christmas album “O Come, All Ye Faithful.” Scored for TTBB choir, strings, harp and celesta.
