The Solid Rock

Description

A triumphant medley of The Solid Rock and My Faith Has Found A Resting Place arranged by Tracey Ann Biddle. The setting opens with a majestic instrumental intro to The Solid Rock in F major with the choir singing in unison. This is followed by the chorus in four-part harmony. After a short interlude into a somewhat slower tempo the male and female voices alternate each phrase of the second stanza then joining again in four parts for the chorus. This is followed by another short transition to the key of G major and the second hymn My Faith Has Found A Resting Place. The female voices present the first phrase and the male voices join in unison with a bit of harmony on the second phrase followed by the chorus in full harmony. An instrumental transition builds to a grand climax for the final verse and chorus of The Solid Rock.
