Description
In a grand, majestic style arranger Tracey Ann Biddle incorporates all the verses in her setting of this great hymn of worship. The first verse, in the key of C major, is stated in unison. The second verse also begins with all voices in unison but then separates into parts mid-way through. In the third verse, the melody is given to the unison lower voices while the upper voices sing a descant. After a very brief modulation to the key of E-flat major, the fourth verse again begins in unison and splits into four part harmony culminating into a grand ending. This setting is suitable for student choirs and church choirs of limited experience as well as professional groups.
